From an e-mail to my brother Mark:
While working on some listings on eBay, I found a couple of cool things.
First, the amusing one. Well, I cracked up. You know Pepsi's iTunes promotion. You can win free song downloads from bottle caps of Pepsi bottles. If you're a winner, you're given a code that will give you a credit @ iTunes.com. Some guy (somewhere), opened a bottle, found a winner, took his picture with the cap, and listed it on eBay! I was so amused I paid the .80 BuyItNow price. Check it out.
I received an e-mail w/ the code (no pesky postage required) and it worked! This guy also recently sold digital photos (also shipped via e-mail) for .03!
ALSO, I found an intriguing collage project & I thought that you might like to take a look. Here's a sample auction.
Beyond that, here's the person's description:
"On Sunday, March 28, 2004 - I will be starting a "Book Collage Challenge" (Probably the biggest challenge of my life)!"

"It is my goal to create a collage using every page of an old chemistry book, (this is not easy, trust me, TRY IT)! Because this book started on pg. 7 and pgs. are double sided, all collages will be done on the odd numbered pages."
"Now for the hard part. I can NOT throw any of them out, or start over, ALL will be listed here on Ebay, whether I like it or not....mistakes and all!"
"Ready for this? There are 1,101 pages to this old book. My goal is to create 2 collages per day (unless I am on my death bed or something). So, I figure at that rate I should be done in 275.25 days (because I can only use one side). Well, I may take a vacation at some point so that may add a few more days. Or, I could get super creative and do 3 in a day!"
"When all pages are done, I will then collage the cover and auction that too!"
